Flos, founded by Sergio Gandini in 1962 in Italy, is the global leader in the design of decorative and architectural lighting. Flos lights by designers such as the Castiglioni brothers, Starck, Morrison, Urquiola, the Bouroullecs, Anastassiades, and van Duysen, have become icons. Their architectural lighting can be found in commercial and residential buildings throughout the world. The packaging program for architectural lighting samples was designed as a modular system of cartons and foam that adapt to over a dozen different and complex components. The corrugated cartons, printed to resemble Carrara marble are a “practical and economic” nod to his famous Arco lamp from 1962.
